Jeffrey Taylor

The Addison County School District, like school districts across the country, is facing staffing and budgetary challenges. I pride myself on my ability to work with friends and neighbors to identify creative and collaborative solutions to difficult problems. I am running for this position with the intention to listen carefully to our community and co-create our future, without a predetermined set of solutions. No matter their passions, our kids need a strong, high quality education to succeed. The school district needs a Board of Directors that can work together with our new Superintendent to ensure that our local educational system works to support the growth of our students and faculty.

I am a consensus builder with the skills to bring people with differing perspectives together to tackle tough problems. I am committed to doing the work necessary to achieve thoughtful solutions to the challenges facing our district. Equitable solutions for all of our students and teachers. Supportive solutions that meet the needs of our diverse community.
